Senior Power Platform Consultant (Platform & Governance).
Role Overview:
We are looking for a
Senior Power Platform Consultant
with
strong platform‑level expertise and in‑depth awareness of Power Platform features and capabilities
. This role focuses on
advisory, governance, and decision support
, acting as a bridge between business, architecture, portfolio, and delivery teams.
The consultant will guide
solution feasibility, platform fitment, governance strategy, and cost‑aware design decisions
, while ensuring that Power Platform is used correctly and consistently at an
enterprise scale
. This is
not a build‑heavy role
, but one that emphasizes
platform ownership, standards, and informed decision‑making
.
Mandatory Skills (Must Have):
Strong hands‑on understanding of
Microsoft Power Platform
, including:
-- Power Apps (Canvas and Model‑Driven)
-- Power Automate
-- Dataverse
Strong knowledge of
Power Platform Admin Center
, including:
-- Environment strategy and management
-- DLP policies
-- Capacity monitoring
-- Security roles and access management
Ability to evaluate solution feasibility from both technical and platform governance perspectives
Strong communication skills to articulate technical decisions to non‑technical stakeholders
Design and secure the Power Platform landscape, clearly defining what app developers can and cannot do.
Configure and manage tenant and environment‑level governance using Power Platform Admin Center.
Design, implement, and maintain Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies across environments.
Define and enforce security, access, and role boundaries for makers, developers, and administrators.
Act as the platform decision authority, guiding teams on correct usage of Power Platform features and capabilities.
Drive enterprise‑scale adoption, ensuring the platform is secure, compliant, and scalable.
Strong experience with Power Platform environment architecture and governance.
Hands‑on expertise with DLP policies and tenant‑level security configuration.
Clear understanding of Power Platform costing, licensing models, and scaling considerations.
Experience operating Power Platform as an enterprise shared service, not just building app
