Role Overview
We are seeking a
Senior Oracle Fusion Reporting Consultant
to join our
Oracle Cloud Managed Services
team. This is a senior, customer‑facing role suited to an experienced reporting professional with
over 10 years of Oracle Reporting
including
5+ years of hands-on Oracle Fusion Cloud reporting and analytics
.
The role focuses on the
ongoing support, enhancement, and strategic evolution
of Oracle Fusion reporting solutions. You will act as a trusted SME for customers, owning reporting delivery across Finance, HCM, Procurement, and SCM modules while ensuring stability, performance, compliance, and continuous improvement within a managed services environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide
L3-level functional and technical reporting support
for Oracle Fusion Cloud in a managed services setting
Hands-on development and support of reports and analytics using:
OTBI
BI Publisher (BIP)
BICC
Lead the
design and execution of reporting strategies
, ensuring:
Data accuracy and reconciliation
Performance optimisation
Alignment with customer and business objectives
Define reporting roadmaps and establish
best practices and standards
for analytics delivery across clients
Work closely with functional and technical teams to produce
detailed reporting specifications
, including:
Data sources and subject areas
Filters, layouts, and KPIs
Security and data access rules
Actively manage stakeholder relationships through
clear communication, regular updates, and expectation management
Identify, assess, and mitigate reporting and data-related risks, proactively addressing dependencies and potential issues
Investigate and resolve data discrepancies, refresh failures, and performance issues
Implement
robust validation, testing, and quality assurance processes
to ensure reporting accuracy and consistency
Support
period-end, statutory, and regulatory reporting cycles
, including month-end and year-end activities
Own and maintain
comprehensive reporting documentation
, including:
Report specifications
Test plans
Data definitions
Security and governance guidelines
Provide leadership to the reporting delivery team, promoting
continuous improvement and reporting excellence
Manage reporting-related incidents, problems, and changes in line with
ITIL processes
Support customer transitions into managed services following Oracle Fusion implementations or vendor exit
Essential Skills
Extensive experience supporting
Oracle Fusion Cloud reporting
in production / managed services environments
Strong hands-on expertise in:
OTBI
BI Publisher (BIP)
Good understanding of Oracle ERP and HCM functional processes
, including Finance, HCM, Procurement, and SCM domains
Strong knowledge of
background technical data dictionaries
, table structures, relationships, and subject areas across ERP and HCM modules
Advanced skills in
SQL, PL/SQL, and ETL concepts
, including data analysis, validation, and reconciliation
Experience designing scalable, high‑performance reporting solutions
Strong understanding of
data security, governance, and compliance
requirements in cloud reporting environments
Ability to translate functional reporting needs into
supportable, reusable technical solutions
Strong working knowledge of
ITIL incident, problem, and change management
Excellent stakeholder management and customer‑facing communication skills
Comfortable working in a
dynamic and fast‑paced managed services environment
, adapting to changing priorities
Desirable Skills
Experience with:
OBIEE / OBIA
Smart View
Exposure to
statutory and regulatory reporting
Understanding of Oracle Fusion security roles and data access controls
Oracle Fusion Reporting / Analytics Cloud certifications
Willingness and flexibility to support
new technologies and evolving analytics approaches
