Role Overview:
We are looking for a highly skilled
Oracle EPM Senior Consultant
with strong hands‑on expertise across Oracle EPM Cloud (EPBCS/PBCS, FCCS, ARCS, EDMCS, PCMCS) along with solid experience delivering
integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)
.
This role requires a mix of
functional finance process knowledge, EPM application design expertise, and OIC technical integration capabilities
to support complex enterprise transformations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Oracle EPM Solution Delivery
Lead end‑to‑end implementation of Oracle EPM Cloud modules including EPBCS, FCCS, ARCS, EDMCS, and others.
Develop metadata, forms, business rules, Groovy scripts, dashboards, and management reports.
Manage month-end close support, budgeting cycles, financial consolidation logic, and reconciliation workflows.
Create design documentation:
FD, MD50, MD70, test scripts, deployment plan
.
2. Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) – Technical Responsibilities
OIC Integrations (Primary Technical Scope)
Design and develop integrations between:
ERP Cloud ↔ EPM Cloud
EPM Cloud ↔ EDMCS
On‑prem systems ↔ Cloud
Build integrations using OIC components:
Integration Cloud Service (ICS)
File-based integrations (FBDI)
REST/SOAP API based integrations
Scheduled orchestrations & event-based triggers
FTP/SFTP adapters
ERP/EPM Cloud adapters
DB adapters
Technical Build & Development
Create and manage:
SOAP/REST service calls
Mappings and transformations (XSLT, JSON, XML)
Error handling, fault policies, and logging frameworks
Orchestrated workflows and process automations
Develop custom scripts using:
OIC JavaScript functions
Groovy scripts in EPM
EPM Automate scripting
(PowerShell / Shell)
Integration Monitoring & Support
Build dashboards for integration run monitoring.
Perform performance tuning and error analysis.
Implement automated alerting for integration failures.
3. Data Integration & EPM Automation
Build end-to-end data pipelines using:
EPM Data Integration (Data Management)
OIC pipelines
EPM Automate for automation jobs
Manage:
Data mappings
Metadata loads
Financial data loads from ERP/sub‑systems
Create automated schedules for metadata sync (EDMCS↔EPM).
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Oracle EPM Expertise (Core)
Minimum
8 years
hands‑on with Oracle EPM Cloud.
Expertise in at least 3 modules:
EPBCS / PBCS
FCCS
ARCS
EDMCS
PCMCS
Strong in:
Smart View
Essbase cube design
Groovy scripting
Consolidation rules and close processes
Management Reporting
Financial modeling, driver-based planning
Oracle OIC Technical Expertise
3–5+ years of OIC experience.
Strong in:
REST/SOAP API integrations
FBDI‑based integrations
VBCS (Visual Builder) basics (nice to have)
ICS orchestrations, connections, fault handling
OAuth, JWT, security policy configurations
Experience integrating Oracle EPM with:
Oracle ERP Cloud
HCM Cloud
On‑prem EBS or other source systems
Additional Skills
Understanding of finance processes (FP&A, Consolidation, Reconciliation).
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Experience in Agile delivery models.
Experience guiding junior consultants and reviewing deliverables.
