<p data-start="912" data-end="1267">We are looking for a <strong>Senior .NET Enginee</strong>r for maintaining, fixing, and improving a suite of legacy enterprise applications for a high-profile entertainment industry client. This role requires a seasoned engineer who is comfortable navigating complex, multi-generational codebases spanning VB6 through modern .NET Core, someone who can diagnose issues quickly and deliver pragmatic, stable solutions.</p>
<h4 data-start="692" data-end="713">Key Responsibilities:</h4>
<ul>
<li>Maintain, debug, and enhance a portfolio of legacy desktop and web applications across multiple technology generations</li>
<li>Triage and resolve production issues in WinForms-based desktop apps and API/middleware services</li>
<li>Collaborate with client stakeholders and cross-functional engineering teams to understand business requirements</li>
<li>Refactor and improve legacy code where appropriate without disrupting existing functionality</li>
<li>Document findings, workarounds, and architectural decisions for knowledge transfer</li>
<li>Support integrations between legacy systems and modern API layers</li>
</ul>
<h4 data-start="1688" data-end="1707">Requirements:</h4>
<ul>
<li data-section-id="g4wgpf" data-start="3808" data-end="3944">5+ years of professional software development experience</li>
<li data-section-id="g4wgpf" data-start="3808" data-end="3944">Strong proficiency in VB.NET and C# (7.x / 8.x)</li>
<li data-section-id="g4wgpf" data-start="3808" data-end="3944">Hands-on experience with .NET Framework (4.0, 4.5, 4.8) and .NET Core (3.1+)</li>
<li data-section-id="g4wgpf" data-start="3808" data-end="3944">Experience working with or supporting VB6 applications</li>
<li data-section-id="g4wgpf" data-start="3808" data-end="3944">Familiarity with WinForms desktop application development</li>
<li data-section-id="g4wgpf" data-start="3808" data-end="3944">Experience building or maintaining REST APIs and middleware services</li>
<li data-section-id="g4wgpf" data-start="3808" data-end="3944">Ability to work independently in unstructured, legacy codebases with minimal documentation</li>
</ul>
<h4 data-start="2296" data-end="2327">Nice to have:</h4>
<ul>
<li data-section-id="1bjayjp" data-start="3969" data-end="4031">Exposure to Angular (v6, v9, or v12) for understanding front-end integrations</li>
<li data-section-id="1bjayjp" data-start="3969" data-end="4031">Experience with Outlook Add-In development (.NET Framework)</li>
<li data-section-id="1bjayjp" data-start="3969" data-end="4031">Background in the entertainment, talent management, or media industry</li>
<li data-section-id="1bjayjp" data-start="3969" data-end="4031">Prior experience in a nearshore delivery model</li>
