JOB PURPOSE
The Senior Manager - Marketing will own, build, and scale EyeROV's marketing function to support business growth, brand positioning, pipeline creation, and market expansion.
This is a senior leadership role requiring strategic thinking, revenue orientation, team leadership, and the ability to position complex technical products in a simple, compelling, and business-relevant manner.
The role will work closely with Sales, Product, Leadership, and Partner teams to ensure marketing initiatives directly contribute to lead quality, funnel efficiency, brand credibility, customer acquisition, and long-term market presence.
Preferred Sectors : Industrial, engineering, marine, robotics, deep-tech, infrastructure, oil & gas, defence.
REQUIRED SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
Strong B2B/B2G marketing leadership experience with ownership of marketing strategy and execution.
Proven track record of scaling marketing functions, not just executing campaigns.
Demonstrated success in revenue-linked marketing outcomes, including pipeline creation and conversion improvement.
Strong understanding of sales funnels, lead quality, customer acquisition, and business growth metrics.
Ability to work closely with sales leadership and align marketing efforts with business targets.
Experience in brand positioning, market presence, and thought leadership in competitive or emerging sectors.
Ability to understand and position complex technical products for business and government decision-makers.
Strong experience in marketing systems, processes, CRM usage, automation, reporting, and performance dashboards.
Proven ability to lead, mentor, hire, and scale marketing teams.
Experience in partner marketing, alliances, ecosystem development, and strategic events is highly desirable.
Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and stakeholder communication skills.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Marketing Strategy & Function Ownership
Own and scale the overall marketing function in line with EyeROV's business goals.
Develop annual and quarterly marketing plans linked to revenue, pipeline, brand visibility, and market expansion.
Set up and optimize marketing systems, processes, reporting structures, and team workflows.
Build a performance-driven marketing function with clear KPIs, accountability, and measurable outcomes.
2. Revenue-Linked Marketing & Sales Alignment
Drive marketing initiatives that contribute to qualified pipeline creation, lead conversion, and business growth.
Work closely with sales leadership to align on target segments, lead quality, campaign priorities, and funnel efficiency.
Establish structured lead generation, lead nurturing, and lead qualification processes.
Track and improve marketing contribution to sales pipeline, conversion rates, and customer acquisition.
3. Brand Positioning & Market Presence
Strengthen EyeROV's brand positioning in marine robotics, underwater inspection, hydro-infrastructure, defence, disaster management, and related sectors.
Build a clear and differentiated market narrative in competitive and emerging markets.
Simplify complex technical offerings into strong customer-focused messaging.
Enhance EyeROV's visibility through thought leadership, industry forums, media, strategic events, and content platforms.
4. Partner Marketing & Ecosystem Development
Identify and build marketing opportunities with partners, alliances, channel partners, and ecosystem stakeholders.
Drive co-marketing initiatives, partner campaigns, joint events, and strategic collaborations.
Support market expansion through industry associations, government bodies, consultants, resellers, and sector-specific partnerships.
Strengthen EyeROV's presence across domestic and international markets through ecosystem-led initiatives.
5. Digital, Content & Communication Strategy
Lead content strategy across website, social media, email, newsletters, case studies, videos, product collaterals, and presentations.
Ensure all communication clearly conveys EyeROV's technology value, customer impact, and business outcomes.
Oversee digital campaigns, SEO, paid campaigns, social media, and marketing automation initiatives.
Ensure communication consistency across all external and internal brand touchpoints.
6. Events, PR & Industry Representation
Represent EyeROV in industry forums, exhibitions, conferences, webinars, media interactions, and strategic business events.
Identify high-impact events that support brand visibility, lead generation, partnerships, and business growth.
Oversee event strategy, participation planning, messaging, collaterals, budget, execution, and post-event ROI tracking.
Build EyeROV's thought leadership presence in relevant industry and technology platforms.
7. Team Leadership & Capability Building
Lead, mentor, and scale the marketing team to deliver strategic and operational goals.
Hire, develop, and manage team members across content, digital, design, events, lead generation, and marketing operations.
Set clear goals, review performance, provide feedback, and build marketing capability within the team.
Drive a culture of ownership, creativity, business alignment, and performance excellence.
