The Role
As Senior Marketing Manager of Marketing at Turno, you will own the full-funnel growth charter — performance, lifecycle, creative. You will lead a high-performing team while staying close enough to the work to roll up your sleeves on net-new initiatives. You will be measured on qualified pipeline, paid efficiency, activation, retention, and the health of the marketing engine over time.
This is a builder role for someone who is equally comfortable debating a CAC payback model with the CFO, reviewing a creative brief with a designer, and shipping a WhatsApp activation flow with the lifecycle team.
Key Responsibilities
Performance Marketing — Google & Meta
Own platform strategy on Google and Meta
end-to-end: account structure, bidding, audiences, attribution, and budget allocation across funnel stages.
Drive deep platform expertise
— campaign types (PMax, Demand Gen, Advantage+, retargeting), feed health, signal quality, conversion API, and incrementality testing.
Hit and defend efficiency targets
(CAC, ROAS, payback) while scaling spends in lockstep with revenue.
Lifecycle & BSP-Driven Engagement
Build engagement workflows through our BSP
(WhatsApp Business Solution Provider) and other messaging channels — onboarding, activation, retention, and win-back journeys.
Design and ship cross-channel automations
across email, push, in-product, and WhatsApp, mapped to host lifecycle stages.
Partner with product and data
to instrument events, segment users, and measure the lift of every workflow.
Creative Experimentation
Set the bar for creative velocity and quality
— own the creative testing roadmap across static, video, UGC, and motion.
Run a structured experimentation pipeline
with clear hypotheses, sample-size discipline, and creative learnings that compound.
Partner with design, brand, and external partners
to keep the creative pipeline full and on-brand.
Team Leadership
Lead, hire, and develop the marketing team
across performance, lifecycle, content, and creative.
Set the operating cadence
— planning, weekly business reviews, experiment readouts, and quarterly OKRs.
Be a force multiplier
— coach the team to think like owners, raise the bar on craft, and ship faster than the competition.
IC Ownership of New Initiatives
Operate as an individual contributor on net-new bets
— new channels, new geos, new audience segments, and new product launches.
Own end-to-end execution
from hypothesis and brief through launch, measurement, and scale-up — without waiting for headcount.
Translate ambiguous problems into shipped programs
with crisp metrics, a clear owner, and a path to scale.
What We're Looking For
8+ years in growth or marketing
at high-growth consumer or SMB SaaS / marketplace companies, with at least 3 years leading a team.
Hands-on operator on Google and Meta
— you can audit an account, spot what is broken, and fix it yourself.
Demonstrated experience building lifecycle and messaging programs
— bonus for WhatsApp / BSP-driven workflows at scale.
Strong creative instincts
— you have a point of view on what good creative looks like and a track record of testing your way to winners.
Player-coach mindset
— equally credible reviewing a P&L with leadership and shipping a campaign with a junior marketer.
Analytical, experiment-driven, and outcomes-obsessed
— comfortable with SQL, attribution debates, and incrementality testing.
Excellent written and verbal communication
— you can rally a team and align cross-functional partners around a sharp narrative.
Nice to Have
Experience in a marketplace or two-sided business
(supply and demand growth).
Exposure to the short-term rental, travel, or property-tech ecosystem

Experience launching in new geographies
or new product lines from zero to one.
