Role Summary The Senior Program Manager leads complex, cross functional engineering programs from requirements definition through delivery to Operations for carrier grade, cloud native, and security sensitive telecom products. They ensure predictable delivery aligned to business, customer, and regulatory objectives. Responsibilities include program governance, risk and issue management, executive reporting, and cross organization coordination while ensuring adherence to security, compliance, performance, and availability requirements for regulated, customer critical production environments. The role requires close partnering with the engineering, architecture, product line management, security, operations and quality teams to align technical execution with customer, regulatory, and business objectives. Key Responsibilities Lead end-to-end R&D programs and major initiatives, from planning through execution, release, and post-delivery review Own program governance, including roadmap alignment, milestone planning, dependency management, and delivery tracking Drive cross-functional coordination across engineering, architecture, product line management, QA, security, DevOps, and customer-facing teams Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate technical, schedule, and resource risks, escalating issues with clear options and recommendations Manage risks related to integration, security vulnerabilities, compliance gaps, and release readiness, with clear mitigation plans Establish and maintain program plans, schedules and executive-level status reporting Ensure alignment between business objectives, technical architecture, and delivery commitments Support release planning and integration across multiple teams, platforms, or product lines Facilitate key program activities (planning sessions, reviews, retrospectives, executive readouts) Act as a trusted partner to senior engineering and product leadership, enabling data-driven decision-making Job Requirements Required Skills and Experience BS Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field. MS preferred. 10+ years of experience in project or program management in Product Development or Operations. Experience supporting global, multi-site engineering organizations. Strong understanding of software development lifecycles, modern engineering practices, and system-level dependencies. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with both technical and executive stakeholders. Exposure to product security, threat modeling, vulnerability management, and security certification programs. Experience in telecom, cloud-native platforms, distributed systems, or enterprise-scale products. Experience with AI for task assistance and automation. Strategic thinking with strong execution focus. Risk Identification and Management skills. Ability to manage ambiguity and change in fast-moving R&D environments. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, risk identification and management. Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills. High level of ownership, accountability, and attention to detail. Desirable Skills and Attributes Experience with global customer delivery and customer operations.
