Job Overview
We are looking for a driven POS Manager to build and scale our POSP/channel partner network focused on SME insurance (non-motor lines) such as Liability, Property, and other commercial risk covers.
This role is critical in driving partner-led SME business growth, managing existing relationships, and expanding the distribution network for business insurance solutions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Partner Acquisition & Network Expansion
Recruit and onboard POSPs, agents, and channel partners with access to SME clients
Expand and strengthen the partner network across target markets
Identify new acquisition channels (DSAs, financial consultants, SME-focused intermediaries)
2. Relationship Management & Agent Servicing
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing POSPs, partners, and SME agent
Ensure high partner engagement, retention, and satisfaction
Act as the key point of contact for servicing, issue resolution, and business support
Drive renewals, cross-sell, and long-term agent value
3. SME Product Enablement & Sales Support
Enable partners on BimaKavach’s SME insurance offerings (Liability, Property, Financial Lines, etc.)
Support partners in deal structuring, client conversations, and closures
Simplify complex insurance products for better partner understanding and sales
4. Performance & Revenue Ownership
Own premium targets and SME business growth through the POS network
Track key metrics: partner activation, premium generation, renewals, and persistency
Drive productivity and conversion efficiency across partners
5. Operational Coordination
Liaise with underwriting, operations, and claims teams for seamless servicing
Ensure smooth policy issuance, documentation, and turnaround times
Support partners in managing client requirements and queries
6. Compliance & Governance
Ensure adherence to IRDAI guidelines for POSP and distribution practices
Maintain proper documentation and audit readiness
Drive compliant and ethical sales practices
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field
5 - 8 years of experience in:
Insurance distribution / agency / broking
Experience in SME/commercial lines preferred
Strong understanding of:
Non-motor insurance products (Liability, Property, Financial Lines)
IRDAI regulations
Key Skills & Competencies

Ability to understand and sell complex business insurance products
