The Senior Manager - Design Operations - Utility Scale Solar will implement the right processes and practices across the design operations team. The role is responsible for ensuring the quality of the company's products and services meet or exceed customer expectations by running various processes, like hiring new employees, training them in specific skill sets and procedures, and monitoring existing employees, so nothing falls through the cracks.

You’ll communicate job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions
You’ll contribute operations information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; prepare and complete action plans; implement production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolve problems; complete audits; identify trends

You’ll manage relationships with key operations vendors
You’ll track vendor pricing, service levels
You’ll communicate customer issues with operations team and devise ways of improving the customer experience, including resolving problems and complaints
You’ll work closely with the client experience teams and management to set and/or implement policies, procedures, and systems and to follow through with implementation
You’ll communicate all operating policies and/or issues at department meetings
You'll communicate clearly with co-workers in office to ensure high quality solar designs.
You'll meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment with high fluctuations in work volume during the end of the month or specific days of the month.
You'll perform other duties and special projects, as assigned. Work with teams to ensure clients’ needs and internal deadlines are met.
Essential Qualifications include:
Bachelor's or associate degree Electrical Engineering with a Post Graduation in Business, Operations Management, or related field with 10+ years of experience
Proven work experience as Design Operations Manager or similar role
Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management
Experience budgeting and forecasting
Familiarity with business and financial principles
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Attention-to-detail and outstanding organizational skills
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to prioritize, execute and follow up on initiatives.
Proven record of good judgment and analytical skills
Ability to effectively communicate with engineering, construction, and customer facing teams.
