Quick Summary:
You will lead the core financial engine of LenDenClub, India’s leading P2P lending platform. Your mission is to drive impeccable controllership, lead a high-performing execution team, and ensure our financial operations scale seamlessly with our rapid growth.
II. Your Role
In this role, you will be expected to achieve the following key results:
Financial Closure:
Drive monthly book closure by Day 7 with 100% accuracy in GL scrutiny and reconciliations.
AP & AR Management:
Own the end-to-end
Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
cycles, ensuring timely vendor payments and efficient collection management.
Vendor Governance:
Lead
vendor management
efforts, including rigorous periodic reconciliations and maintaining healthy, dispute-free vendor relationships.
Process Governance:
Enforce T-3 approval timelines and strict protocol discipline across all payment workflows.
Statutory Compliance:
Manage error-free GST and TDS filings, ensuring proactive reconciliation between books and returns.
Audit Management:
Act as the primary lead for internal and statutory audits, ensuring zero-observation closures and robust control frameworks.
Team Leadership:
Manage and upskill a team of finance executives, shifting the culture toward accountability and continuous process improvement.
III. Candidate / Skill RequirementsA. Must-Haves (Non-Negotiable)
Experience:
8+ years in Accounting/Finance Operations, with specific expertise in
Vendor & Receivable management
, preferably within the NBFC or Fintech sector.
Core Skills:
Mastery of Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS), tax regulations, and advanced Excel.
Education:
CA (Preferred) or CA Inter.
System Knowledge:
High proficiency in ERP systems (Microsoft Business Central preferred).
B. Bonus: Good-to-Haves
Experience in automating manual finance workflows or ERP implementation.
Prior experience dealing with regulatory reporting for RBI-regulated entities.
