Position Overview
Micro Mitti is looking for a highly experienced
Senior Liaison Manager with a strong liaisoning background
to lead legal, regulatory, and government relations functions. This role will act as the key interface between the company and government authorities, regulatory bodies, and external stakeholders, ensuring seamless approvals, compliance, and risk mitigation.
The position requires a strategic legal leader with deep expertise in
liaisoning, regulatory navigation, and dispute management
, while supporting business expansion and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
1. Liaisoning & Government Relations (Primary Focus)
Act as the primary point of contact between the company and government authorities, regulatory bodies, and local administration.
Build and maintain strong relationships with government officials, departments, and statutory authorities.
Ensure timely approvals, licenses, registrations, and clearances required for business operations.
Handle all regulatory interactions related to land, real estate, environmental, and investment-related matters.
Represent the company in front of government bodies for inspections, notices, and compliance matters.
Track regulatory developments and proactively manage their impact on business operations.
2. Legal Strategy & Advisory
Advise the CEO and leadership team on legal, regulatory, and liaisoning-related risks and opportunities.
Align legal strategies with business expansion, especially in regulatory-heavy environments.
Provide legal inputs for new projects, land acquisitions, and partnerships requiring government approvals.
3. Compliance & Regulatory Management
Ensure full compliance with central, state, and local laws.
Oversee regulatory filings, documentation, and statutory obligations.
Develop compliance frameworks with a strong focus on
government-facing processes

Conduct internal audits and risk assessments to avoid regulatory exposure.
4. Litigation & Dispute Resolution
Manage litigation related to regulatory, land, and government matters.
Coordinate with external counsel for cases involving government authorities.
Represent the company in hearings, arbitrations, and regulatory proceedings.
Develop strategies to minimize disputes with authorities and ensure faster resolution.
5. Contracts & Documentation
Oversee drafting and review of agreements involving government bodies, land deals, and regulatory compliance.
Ensure all documentation aligns with statutory requirements and approval conditions.
6. Corporate Governance
Ensure compliance with corporate laws and governance standards.
Manage statutory records, filings, and board-level legal documentation.
7. Policy & Process Development
Develop internal SOPs for liaisoning and regulatory processes.
Establish frameworks for handling government interactions efficiently.
Drive compliance awareness across teams, especially for regulatory-sensitive functions.
8. Leadership & Stakeholder Management
Lead and mentor the legal and liaisoning team.
Manage relationships with external consultants, legal advisors, and liaisoning agencies.
Drive a culture of proactive compliance and strong government relationships across the organization.
Qualifications
Education
LL.B (LL.M preferred)
Bar Council registration
Experience
18–20+ years of experience with
strong exposure to liaisoning and government relations
Proven experience handling regulatory approvals, land matters, and government coordination
Background in real estate, infrastructure, manufacturing, or regulated industries preferred
Experience in managing litigation involving government bodies
Skills
