We’re looking for a hands-on
Senior Full-Stack Engineer
who can architect, build, and scale high-performance applications that enable mission-critical factory workflows.
Why this role exists
Factory Thread is expanding across modules — production monitoring, digital workflows, quality management, and predictive operations. We need an engineer who can:
Build powerful, scalable frontends and backends
Own features end-to-end in a startup environment
Work across cloud, on-prem deployments, and devops
Mentor developers and strengthen engineering practices
What you will work on
Frontend Engineering
Build responsive, high-performance applications using
React and Next.js
Implement dashboards used by operators, engineers, and plant managers
Create internal tooling, configuration UIs, and admin consoles
Optimize UX for real-time, data-heavy interfaces
Backend & Platform
Develop scalable services using
Node.js + Fastify
Design core APIs for data ingestion, workflows, user management, and analytics
Implement secure authentication, RBAC, audit logs, and workflow logic
Improve backend performance, caching, and reliability
Cloud, On-Prem & DevOps
Deploy and manage systems on
Azure
Build production-ready
on-prem deployments using Docker containers
Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines
Implement observability using logs, metrics, and alerts
Engineering Ownership
Participate in sprint planning, break down features, and drive execution
Collaborate closely with product teams to translate requirements into solutions
Mentor junior engineers and promote engineering best practices
Who you are (ideal fit)
5–8 years of full-stack development experience
Strong expertise with
React, Next.js, TypeScript, and Node.js
Experience building production-ready dashboards or real-time apps
Proficient in building APIs with
Fastify (or similar high-performance Node frameworks)
Hands-on experience with
Docker
and container-based deployment
Comfort with
Azure
or similar cloud environments
Startup mindset — ownership, speed, and autonomy
Nice-to-have
Familiarity with manufacturing, supply chain, or industrial IoT systems
Experience instrumenting analytics (Mixpanel, GA, etc.)
Exposure to Flutter or mobile app development
