Key Responsibilities:
Sales Order Management:
Create and maintain sales orders in SAP based on customer purchase orders.
Validate sales order data for accuracy, including pricing, delivery schedules, and product availability.
SAP Block Handling:
Monitor and resolve order blocks in SAP (credit block, delivery block, pricing block, etc.).
Liaise with relevant departments (Finance, Sales, Logistics) to resolve issues causing blocks.
Cross-Functional Coordination:
Work closely with the
Production Planning
team to confirm product availability and delivery timelines.
Coordinate with the
Finance team
for credit approvals, billing holds, and payment status.
Act as a point of contact for the
Sales team
for order status updates and escalations.
Reporting & Documentation:
Generate regular reports on order status, pending deliveries, and blocked orders.
Maintain accurate documentation of order changes, approvals, and internal communications.
Process Improvement:
Identify process bottlenecks and suggest improvements for better order management and faster turnaround times.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Commerce, or a related field.
2–5 years of experience in Sales Operations, Order Management, or Supply Chain.
Hands-on experience with
SAP SD module
is a must.
Proficiency in MS Excel and reporting tools.
