Responsibilities:
Producing detail designs, concept stage to IFC stage for pressurized water network, firefighting, irrigation; pumping stations, water storage tanks ; and other water-related projects
Undertake model build and calibration of water network hydraulic models using a range of modelling software and other tools including spreadsheets.
Surge Analysis, Transiant wave analysis
Hydraulic modelling and design of Bulk infrastructure and reticulation systems (distribution, transmission, pumping), Pumpstation and reservoir designs
Preparation of project specifications, bill of quantities and tender documentation, Data sheets.
Water master planning.
P&I of pumping stations/Water Tanks.
Design Pump duty condition/ system curve, pump parallel/series operation
Carry out system performance analysis, development assessment and operational scenario planning using hydraulic models and other tools as required.
Prepare report for modelling projects suitable for review and client presentation.
Provide input into project activities, including fee estimating and scoping of projects.
Work proactively within a team to ensure the production of quality deliverables.
Preparation of Specifications, Data sheets

Qualifications:
Graduate
in Civil Engineering
Postgraduate
in Water Resource Engineering or Environmental Engineering preferably
Experience:
10+ years
of hands-on experience in detail design for Water Infrastructure projects in Road, Rail and urban projects.
Experience in the design of water demand management and design of water reticulation systems, reservoirs, pumpstations – advantageous
Skilled in hydraulic model build, verification and calibration using hydraulic modelling tools.
Experience in the design water network designs.
Knowledge and understanding of international codes and standards.
Ability to work well as part of a team or on an individual basis.
