Responsibilities & Tasks
Evaluate, develop, and debug complex test methods
Design and develop test automation frameworks to expand test coverage and failure prediction
Design and develop test cases for new features on Client & Enterprise SSD programs
Analyze customer issues with emphasis on driving test hole closure activities
Use your strong scripting language skills for automating tests and shortening qualification cycles
Enhance, develop, and execute test scripts on host systems to uncover drive hardware and firmware/ host issues with SSDs
Qualifications
Proficiency programming with C / C++ / Python
Ability to understand and debug interface protocols (SATA, SAS, NVMe)
GUI, CLI tools test execution and automation experience
Understanding of Windows and UNIX / Linux server storage environments
Triage/ debug of issues found during test execution
A high level of self-motivation, and dedication to find creative solutions to difficult problems
The ability to work well on a team based in different worldwide locations
The ability to multitask effectively in fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical and/or Computer Engineering
5+ years of experience in Manual and Automation test execution, preferably in Storage area on Windows & Linux OS
5+ years of experience in test framework development using Python
