Senior Engineer - Embedded Algorithm Development

About the Role
Develop and optimize measurement and monitoring algorithms for our Data Center and Energy products. You'll translate algorithm concepts into efficient C/C++ code optimized for ARM Cortex-M embedded platforms, balancing accuracy with computational constraints.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement signal processing algorithms for energy measurement and monitoring systems
Translate algorithm models from Python/MATLAB to optimized C/C++ code
Optimize algorithms for ARM Cortex-M platforms (memory, CPU cycles, real-time performance)
Implement digital filtering, harmonic analysis, and measurement algorithms
Profile performance and analyze computational complexity
Integrate algorithms with RTOS (Zephyr, FreeRTOS) environments
Use AI coding assistants to accelerate development and explore optimization strategies
Collaborate with validation engineers and hardware teams
Required Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering or related field
Experience:
4-8 years of experience in embedded algorithm development and optimization
Technical Skills:
Strong C/C++ programming for embedded systems
Signal processing fundamentals (digital filters, FFT, sampling theory)
Understanding of electrical measurements (voltage, current, power, harmonics)
Experience with ARM Cortex-M microcontrollers
Comfortable with Python or MATLAB for prototyping
Proficient using AI tools (GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT) for development
Professional Skills:
Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking
Ability to balance accuracy with performance constraints
Good debugging and optimization skills
Effective communication and teamwork
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in related field
Experience with CMSIS-DSP or ARM optimization techniques
Knowledge of fixed-point and floating-point arithmetic
Familiarity with RTOS concepts and embedded debugging tools
Experience with Cortex-M33, Cortex-M7, or Cortex-M85 architectures
Understanding of IEC standards for measurement systems
