Job Purpose
The Senior Engineer – DevOps will be responsible for managing and optimizing cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, system reliability, and security operations. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in AWS, DevOps practices, infrastructure automation, monitoring tools, and cloud-native technologies while ensuring scalability, security, and operational efficiency across environments.
Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for seamless application deployment and release management.
Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using Terraform, Ansible, and scripting tools.
Manage containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes/ECS.
Monitor infrastructure performance, availability, and security using observability and logging tools.
Ensure infrastructure reliability, backup, disaster recovery, and incident management processes are in place.
Collaborate with development, QA, and security teams for smooth deployment and operational support.
Implement and maintain security best practices, vulnerability management, and compliance standards.
Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, and production issues with root cause analysis.
Maintain documentation for infrastructure, deployment processes, and operational procedures.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, or Site Reliability Engineering
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs)
Knowledge

Strong understanding of AWS cloud services (EC2, ECS/ECR, RDS, S3, Route53, VPC, IAM, ALB).
Knowledge of CI/CD tools and DevOps practices.
Familiarity with infrastructure automation and configuration management tools.
Understanding of Linux systems, networking, security, and monitoring concepts.
Knowledge of containerization and orchestration platforms like Docker and Kubernetes.
Skills

Strong hands-on expertise in AWS and cloud infrastructure management.
Proficiency in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar.
Experience with Terraform, Ansible, Shell scripting, or PowerShell.
Good understanding of monitoring and logging tools like Grafana, ELK, Loki, Prometheus, or Wazuh.
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
