Responsibility:
1.
Follows basic safety [PPE adherence,
Machine guarding, Fire safety, Electrical Safety, etc.] requirements of various
work permits
2.
Reports incidents immediately with
accurate details
3.
Understands & follows safety
requirements within work area to identify and escalate potential hazards.
4.
Participates in maintenance of the
control systems and ensure the frequent backups are available and updating of
the user management as per schedules
5.
Suggests and implement new areas of
automation
6.
Prepares the Calibrations master list
and Annual Calibrations schedule and update the same in SAP
7.
Ensures the Execution of the
calibrations through SAP as per calibration policy and related Instrument
calibration SOP’s
8.
Monitors and analyses breakdown trends
and coordinates for timely handover of equipment’s.
9.
Ensures availability of minimum spares
inventory for smooth functioning of day-to-day maintenance activities
10.
Prepares
the Annual Preventive maintenance plan with consultation
11.
To
follow safety norms and adhere with company policy.
12.
To
follow the Quality Policy & Contamination prevention policy of the company
13.
Implements
PM activities and ensure compliance with annual schedule
14.
Coordinates
small modifications and equipment replacements with the user.
15.
Adheres
to requirements as per written procedures.
16.
Builds
relationship with team members and encourages them to collaborate proactively
by sharing knowledge and experiences.
17.
Continuously
attends trainings and acquires new skills related to different concepts of
engineering & applies it to work.
18.
Identifies
areas to improve installation/ maintenance/ repair/ calibration, etc. process
to reduce breakdown time

Demonstrates
complete ownership of end-result of installation/ maintenance/ repair/
calibration, etc. of manufacturing systems
20.
Preparation
of BOQ of Instruments as per the P&ID.
21.
Preparation
of cable schedule and I/O assignment.
22.
Installation
and commissioning of process instruments.
23.
Installation
and commissioning of Control system including the I/O panels. Look checking,
startup of the process instruments and Automation systems.
24.
Maintenance
and troubleshooting of Automation systems like Distributed control system,
Programmable logic controllers, SCADA and HMI etc.
25.
Develop
and maintain the best engineering standards and design best practices.
26.
Adherence
to site safety and Quality policies and procedures.
27.
Handling
of shifts independently.
28.
Collaborates
with other engineers to develop accurate, efficient equipment and
instrumentation in accordance with safety and usability standards and user
expectations.
29.
Collaboration
with cross functional team to rectify the day to day maintenance issues.
30.
Acts
as project engineer for design, prototype fabrication, and manufacturing
development.
31.
Drafts
technical manuals for instrumentation.
32.
Coordinate
with contractors for execution of the projects.

Attend
the running, breakdown & shutdown instrumentation works.
