Job Purpose:
To drive sales of transformer products (distribution/power) by developing new customers, managing key accounts, and ensuring sales targets are achieved in the assigned territory or vertical.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify, develop, and manage relationships with key customers in utilities, EPCs, industrial clients, and OEMs.
Achieve assigned sales targets for transformer products.
Generate leads through cold calling, networking, and participation in industry events.
Prepare and deliver technical and commercial proposals in line with customer specifications and requirements.
Coordinate with internal teams (design, pricing, production, logistics) to ensure timely order fulfillment.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to refine sales strategies.
Maintain and update CRM data, reports, and forecasts accurately and timely.
Ensure post-sales customer support in coordination with service teams.
Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. MBA in Marketing is a plus.
Experience:
3–5 years of sales experience in the power sector, preferably in transformer or electrical equipment sales.
Knowledge:
Strong understanding of transformer specifications, power distribution networks, and utility procurement processes.
Skills:
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Technical aptitude to understand transformer products
CRM and MS Office proficiency
Ability to travel frequently

Monthly/Quarterly sales target achievement
Customer acquisition and retention rate
Proposal-to-order conversion ratio
Timely submission of reports and CRM updates
Market penetration in new geographies/segments
