About this role

OVERVIEW OF THE COMPANY Fox Corporation Under the FOX banner, we produce and distribute content through some of the world’s leading and most valued brands, including: FOX News Media, FOX Sports, FOX Entertainment, FOX Television Stations and Tubi Media Group. We empower a diverse range of creators to imagine and develop culturally significant content, while building an organization that thrives on creative ideas, operational expertise and strategic thinking. JOB DESCRIPTION FOX Corporation is home to iconic brands including FOX News, FOX Sports, FOX Entertainment, and Tubi. Our Direct-to-Consumer division builds and scales the streaming, product, and technology platforms that connect tens of millions of viewers with premium content across every screen. Our global engineering and delivery teams are central to how we do it.   THE OPPORTUNITY We are looking for a Senior Director of Delivery who is equally at home driving strategy in front of senior leadership and rolling up their sleeves alongside the team when the work demands it. This is a player-coach role for a delivery executive with the operational depth to mature a high-performing engineering organization and the executive presence to represent it credibly across the enterprise. This leader will anchor our global delivery practice, connecting portfolio prioritization, capacity management, and squad delivery into a single, coherent operating model. They will be a full partner in how FOX DTC makes decisions, sequences work, and ships product, bringing a builder's mindset and a bias toward AI-enabled solutions to everything they build.   WHAT YOU'LL DO Delivery Leadership & Squad Model Lead the rollout and adoption of the squad model across engineering teams, establishing clear squad charters, ownership boundaries, and embedded delivery accountability that scales. Institute measurable delivery predictability: operationalize the KPIs that matter including sprint commitment rate, cycle time, lead time, escape defect rate, and velocity stability. Build / adopt the dashboards and rituals that make these signals visible and actionable for teams and leadership alike. When teams are blocked, stuck, or behind, step in. Facilitate dependency resolution, re-sequence work, and model the craft. This leader doesn't just oversee delivery, they accelerate it. Partner with Scrum Masters, Tech Leads, and Product Managers to build consistent squad rhythms, reduce variability, and surface risks before they become missed commitments.   Portfolio Integration & Capacity Management Serve as the delivery anchor between this team and the FOX DTC Portfolio & Delivery Management framework, maintaining a single source of truth on prioritization, sequencing, and capacity across the portfolio. Own a transparent capacity management practice: real-time visibility into team availability, skill coverage, and utilization that informs prioritization decisions before commitments are made, not after they've slipped. Advocate in roadmap and portfolio reviews for commitments that are operationally grounded. Push back when timelines or resourcing don't hold up, and bring proposed solutions alongside the concern. Lead headcount planning, skill gap analysis, and onboarding coordination in partnership with Engineering, HR, and Finance.   AI-Enabled Operations & Executive Stakeholder Leadership Bring a builder's mindset to how this team operates: champion AI-enabled tooling for delivery insights, automated reporting, risk prediction, and capacity forecasting, actively reducing manual overhead so teams spend more time building. Identify and implement AI-assisted solutions across the delivery lifecycle, from sprint planning and retrospective synthesis to portfolio health monitoring and dependency tracking. Present with confidence and credibility in front of senior and executive leadership: own the delivery narrative, frame trade-offs clearly, and drive the decisions that need to be made, not just the updates. Build trust-based relationships with Tech Leads, Product Managers, and Engineering Leaders by engaging with the technical and product context, not just the process layer. Create the conditions for teams to escalate problems early and model the expectation that doing so is a strength, not a failure. WHO YOU ARE 10+ years of progressive delivery or program management leadership, with at least 5 years leading senior managers and cross-functional teams in a matrixed technology organization. Proven track record as a player-coach: equally effective facilitating an executive portfolio review and resolving a sprint-level blocker with the team. Deep expertise in delivery management frameworks (agile at scale, squad/tribe models, capacity planning, and portfolio governance) and a history of actually improving delivery outcomes with them, not just implementing them. Demonstrated ability to define, instrument, and drive adoption of delivery KPIs including sprint predictability, cycle time, lead time, escape defect rate, and velocity stability. Experience leveraging AI tools to improve delivery operations, or a clear track record of building and adopting tooling that reduces friction and improves signal. Strong executive presence: the ability to hold a room with senior stakeholders, make complex trade-offs legible, and speak with conviction, including when the news is hard. A track record of earning credibility with technical leaders and product managers through competence and engagement, not just organizational authority. Comfortable operating in high-velocity, ambiguous environments where the frameworks you're building don't fully exist yet. Familiarity with streaming, media technology, or consumer digital products necessary. Bachelor's required; MBA or equivalent advanced credential a plus. #L1SS1 We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, gender identity, disability, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law. We will consider for employment qualified applicants with criminal histories consistent with applicable law.
