Role Overview: We are looking for an experienced Senior Direct Sales Representative to join our growing sales team. The ideal candidate will have 8–10+ years of experience in direct sales within the publishing industry and a proven track record of successfully selling ad inventory, managing client relationships, and driving revenue growth. You will work closely with our publisher clients to help them sell their direct inventory, create strategic partnerships, and expand revenue streams. Key Responsibilities: Lead and Manage Direct Sales for Publishers ○ Drive direct sales efforts for publisher clients by prospecting and acquiring new business, focusing on selling their inventory. ○ Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue goals. ○ Manage the full sales cycle, from initial outreach and relationship building to closing deals. ○ Work with internal teams to ensure the seamless delivery of campaigns and client expectations. Client Relationship Management ○ Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business. ○ Provide consultative sales support, positioning inventory solutions to meet client needs and objectives. ○ Act as the main point of contact for all direct sales-related inquiries. Sales Strategy & Market Intelligence ○ Develop a deep understanding of the publisher's target market and the competitive landscape. ○ Identify new opportunities for expansion and growth within the publisher's portfolio. ○ Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to adjust sales strategies accordingly. Collaboration & Cross-functional Work ○ Work closely with DataBeat’s internal sales ops, market research, and SDR teams to ensure data integrity and enriched leads. ○ Collaborate with internal teams to ensure clients' expectations are met and exceeded in the execution of campaigns. Qualifications: Experience: ○ 8–10+ years of experience in direct sales, specifically in the publishing, media, or ad tech industry. ○ Proven track record in selling direct ad inventory, developing strategies, and closing high-value deals. ○ Experience working with publishers, media buyers, and ad operations teams. Skills: ○ Excellent communication and negotiation skills. ○ Strong understanding of digital advertising, programmatic advertising, and publisher inventory management. ○ Ability to build relationships with senior-level decision-makers and executives. ○ A strategic thinker with strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
