About the Role
We’re looking for a
Senior DevOps Consultant (Azure)
to lead the design and implementation of foundational cloud infrastructure for new and evolving platforms.
This is a hands-on, high-impact role where you’ll help shape cloud strategy from day one — building secure, scalable Azure environments that enable modern engineering teams to deliver at speed. You’ll work closely with architects, developers, and stakeholders to establish best practices across infrastructure, automation, security, and CI/CD.

Job Responsibilities
Designing and implementing
Azure landing zones
and cloud foundations
Setting up
subscriptions, management groups, policies, and governance models
Building Infrastructure as Code using
Terraform and/or Bicep
Creating and managing
CI/CD pipelines
with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions
Implementing secure networking (VNets, peering, VPN, ExpressRoute)
Establishing identity and access management with
Azure Entra ID (Azure AD)
Embedding
security and compliance best practices
(Key Vault, Defender for Cloud, Azure Policy)
Enabling observability using
Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights
Supporting containerised and serverless workloads (AKS, Functions, Container Apps)
Advising on scalability, resilience, cost optimisation, and disaster recovery
Mentoring engineers and influencing cloud engineering standards
What We’re Looking For
Strong experience as a
Senior DevOps Engineer or DevOps Consultant
Proven track record of building
Azure infrastructure from scratch
Deep knowledge of Azure core services (compute, storage, networking, IAM)
Strong Infrastructure as Code experience (Terraform, Bicep, ARM)
CI/CD expertise (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions)
Solid understanding of cloud security and DevSecOps principles
Experience with containers and/or Kubernetes (AKS preferred)
Strong stakeholder communication skills and consulting mindset
Nice to Have
Azure certifications (AZ-104, AZ-305, AZ-400)
Experience in enterprise or regulated environments
Experience designing enterprise landing zones
Platform engineering background
