TITLE: Senior Data Architect WORKING LOCATION: Bangalore, India WORK MODE: Hybrid 3 Days office and 2 Days WFH in a week SHIFTS ANY: 12:00PM to 9:00PM Job Description: ​Position Overview ​We are seeking a Senior DBA role to manage all DB activities within all applications in the business landscape. Cost effective deployments and operational efficiency for all the DB’s. Regular indexing and address performance bottlenecks by query optimization. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the Microsoft Azure ecosystem. Recommend and deploy high availability setups for scalability and performance. Archive unused data and perform systematic archival of decommissioned systems for data retention. ​​ Experience: Minimum of 8 years of professional relevant experience in database administration and architecture. Experience: minimum of 3 years of professional experience in MS Azure. Technical Requirements​ SQL Server Mastery: Expert-level T-SQL, performance tuning, AlwaysOn Availability Groups. Cloud Architecture: Hands-on experience with Azure App Services, Azure Functions, and Service Bus.​Security: Implementation of identity management via Microsoft Entra ID. ​ Key Responsibilities ​ Modernization: Deconstruct SQL Server monoliths into modular schemas using Azure SQL Managed Instance.​ Refactoring: Transition complex business logic from Stored Procedures into maintainable middle-tier .NET code.​ DevOps: Automate database and application deployments using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.​Preferred Microsoft Certifications​ DP-300: Administering Microsoft Azure SQL Solutions​AZ-204: Developing Solutions for Microsoft Azure​AZ-305: Designing Microsoft  Azure Infrastructure Solutions   Mandatory Qualifications ​ Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related Engineering field.
