Position Description:
We are looking for an experienced Senior BIM Engineer (Structure) with 6+ years of expertise in structural modeling (beams, columns, slabs, trusses and rebar detailing) and coordination. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership capability, advanced BIM knowledge, and experience handling complex coordination tasks across multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, manage, and coordinate detailed structural BIM models for residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects.
Prepare accurate structural drawings, shop drawings, and construction documentation from BIM models.
Collaborate with architects, MEP teams, and stakeholders to ensure clash-free models using coordination tools.
Perform clash detection and resolve coordination issues using BIM workflows.
Interpret structural design drawings and convert them into high-quality BIM models.
Ensure compliance with US and Canadian codes, standards, and project requirements.
Manage LOD (Level of Development) requirements across different project stages.
Maintain BIM standards, templates, and workflows for consistency across projects.
Support quantity take-offs, BOQs, and 4D/5D BIM processes when required.
Participate in project meetings with international clients and coordinate across time zones.
Required Technical Skills:
Strong expertise in structural BIM modeling and detailing.
Proficiency in: Autodesk Revit (Structure), Navisworks (Clash Detection & Coordination), AutoCAD
Experience with: BIM 360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud, Tekla Structures (preferred)
Knowledge of: ACI, AISC, CSA standards , US & Canadian construction documentation practices
Ability to create parametric families and templates in Revit.
Familiarity with Dynamo scripting (preferred).
Understanding of structural systems (RC, steel, precast).

Autodesk Revit (Advanced)
Navisworks Manage
AutoCAD
Tekla Structures (added advantage)
BIM 360 / ACC
Dynamo (optional)
Bluebeam / PDF markup tools
Soft Skills:
Strong communication skills for international client coordination

Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
Experience working with US/Canada-based clients or firms
Knowledge of ISO/BIM standards (ISO 19650)
Experience in multidisciplinary BIM coordination environments
