About the Role
We are looking for a
Senior Backend Engineer
to join our
Engineering Team
. You will help design, build, and scale the systems that underpin our core products and platform. You’ll work on
high-performance, secure, and reliable backend systems
, collaborating closely with
backend, frontend, mobile, data science, and product teams
. Your work will directly impact how users interact with our products, emphasizing
performance, reliability, and privacy at scale
.
Responsibilities
● Build and evolve
microservices
that handle high-volume transactional and operational data
● Design and implement
secure APIs
(gRPC, REST, GraphQL) for internal and third-party integrations
● Develop
data-driven backend services
for account management, activity tracking, and insights
● Manage and optimize databases:
Postgres, MySQL, BigQuery, Spanner
● Containerize services with
Docker
and deploy to
GCP/AWS
● Orchestrate workflows using
Argo Workflows
● Write
clean, well-tested, maintainable code
● Contribute to
system architecture, technical standards, and best practices
● Mentor engineers, conduct code reviews, and participate in
Engineering team processes

Qualifications
● Bachelor’s or Master’s in
Computer Science, Engineering
, or related field
● 5+ years of professional experience as a
Backend Engineer
● Hands-on experience with
Node.js/Express, Rust, or Go
● Experience with
gRPC, Protobuf, GraphQL
● Cloud experience:
GCP or AWS
● Database expertise:
Postgres, MySQL, BigQuery, Spanner
● Strong problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills
Nice to have:
Experience with
HTML, CSS, React
, or modern frontend frameworks for collaboration and occasional UI contributions
