About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled
Senior Automation Engineer
with strong expertise in
Playwright
to join our growing engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in automation frameworks, excellent problem‑solving abilities, and the ability to communicate clearly across cross‑functional teams. This is a hybrid role based in Bengaluru.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain
end-to-end automation frameworks
using
Playwright
.
Build scalable automation solutions to support continuous integration and delivery.
Develop and execute automated test scripts for web applications, APIs, and other software components.
Collaborate closely with developers, QA engineers, and product teams to ensure high-quality releases.
Analyze test results, identify defects, and provide clear documentation for debugging.
Drive best practices for test automation, code quality, and performance optimization.
7–9 years
of total experience in Test Automation.
Strong hands-on experience with
Playwright
.
Solid understanding of modern automation tools, frameworks, and CI/CD pipelines.
Experience with API testing (e.g., Postman, REST Assured).
Proficiency in any one programming language: Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or C#.
Familiarity with version control systems like
Git
.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts clearly.
Good to Have
Experience with Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Knowledge of performance testing tools.
Exposure to containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
