Job Title:
Senior Associate- Tax Consultant (Corporate or Pass-Throughs 1065, 1120S)
Roles & Responsibilities:
The candidate will be responsible for US Tax Returns 1065, 1120, 1120S and Multistate Tax Returns including workpapers.
Prepare returns using tax applications CCH, OneSource or GoSystem efficiently. Any application depending on client need.
Prepare international forms like 1116, 5471, 8858, 8865.
Preparation and implementation of the tax strategies for Direct taxes at the US Federal, State and International levels.
Timely compliance/ assessments related to Federal and state/Local.
Preparation of tax computations for Federal and State Estimated tax payments, , and Extensions for Federal/State/local, and Quarterly Provisions.
Coordinate with the tax advisory firm in the preparation of international tax returns and other compliances.
Preparations of State Apportionment and State Tax Workpapers.
Prepare US Federal & State Depreciation Computations.
Prepare US Non-Profit Returns (Form 990 and 990-PF).
Prepare US Consolidated Tax Returns Federal and State.
Prepare US Income Tax Provision under ASC – 740.
Desired Skills (Technical & Behavioral):
Experience of working in Big 4 public accounting firm is strongly preferred.
Combination of public accounting and industry experience is preferable.
Good Communication Skills
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel and Explorer Internet software similar tax software.
Proven work experience of 3-5 years as a Tax Accountant, Tax Analyst or Tax Preparer
Candidate should have exposure working with CPA Firms and Clients
Experience in Corporate or Partnership tax returns preferred.
In-depth knowledge of US Federal, State taxes and International Taxes
Bachelor’s degree or any post graduate degree
