Key Responsibilities:
Manage wind/solar plants as per O&M Quality plan – 50 to 100MW
Ensure higher energy-based plant availability through strong co-ordination between O&M service provider team at site, their technical teams and other sub-contractor
Reduction in Inventory stock out situation through regular audits of inventory as per RSPL, tracking consumption pattern to stock up necessary materials
Implementation of Identified corrective, preventive and Predictive maintenance
Liaise with local authorities for inspections, certifications (if any) of solar/wind plant
Identify and manage local vendors for small works at the plant
Coordinate and support third party inspections at plant including – lenders engineers, certification agency, consultants
Turbine, Pooling Sub Station, internal and external transmission line technical audit
Liaise with Utility for on-time energy recording and processing of JMR
On-time collection of auxiliary bills from Utility, verify and submit to HO for payment
Implement and track performance improvement initiatives/pilot study in co-ordination with Engineering Technical Support team
Ensure timely reporting of asset performance in Vena Energy In-house asset management tool
Be SME (subject matter expert) for specific major component and support entire Vena Energy Fleet for specific issues solving – prepare SOP’s for specific task/troubleshooting
Adhere to applicable statutory and legal compliance
HSE audits every month for all assets
Zero Incidents
Provide necessary technical documentation, assist during surveyor visits for insurance claim for major outages
Manage community local community relations through implementing CSR initiatives inline with Vena guiding principles
Prerequisites:
Diploma/BE in Mechanical/Electrical
5 to 6 Years of experience
Solar / Wind plant operations including trouble shooting, functioning of major components
Expertise in specific component/area
Knowledge on balance of plant including pooling station, transmission lines
Experience in writing technical reports and proposals
Ability to understand Root Causes Analysis Techniques (Six Sigma, DMAIC etc)
Technical note validation
Knowledge in major activities including Generator/ Gearbox/Blade replacement
Participated and certified by OEM’s for specific component/work process/Maintenance
Able to foster relationships across diverse backgrounds and positions
Able to plan, organize and effectively present ideas to a group and to individuals with different backgrounds
Solid interpersonal skills and ability to work with and guide others
Strong teamwork orientation, initiative, communication, and problem-solving skills
Computer proficiency
