Role Overview
The Senior Associate – Graphic Design will support Bala Vikasa’s Multimedia Production Studio by developing high-quality visual communication materials that enhance the organization’s storytelling, marketing communications, and institutional outreach.
Working closely with the Assistant Manager – Graphic Design, Strategic Communications team, and multimedia production teams, the role will translate communication concepts into visually engaging graphics for print, digital platforms, and multimedia content.
The role will contribute to the design of marketing collaterals, program documentation materials, event visuals, and digital communication assets while ensuring consistency with Bala Vikasa’s brand identity and visual standards.
Key Responsibilities
Design visual communication materials including brochures, program one-pagers, reports, presentations, posters, banners, and promotional graphics.
Develop marketing and communication collaterals to support Bala Vikasa’s programs, training initiatives, campaigns, and institutional outreach.
Create visual assets for digital platforms including social media graphics, web visuals, and campaign materials.
Translate communication concepts, narratives, and messaging into clear and engaging visual designs.
Support the design of visual materials for events, workshops, conferences, and institutional programs.
Collaborate with the Strategic Communications team to develop graphics for communication campaigns and knowledge products.
Work with multimedia production teams to design visual elements used in video productions such as titles, infographics, and overlays.
Ensure all design outputs follow Bala Vikasa’s brand guidelines and visual identity standards.
Prepare layouts and visual designs for publications, reports, and documentation materials.
Maintain organized design files and contribute to the studio’s design asset library and template repository.
Review and refine design outputs to ensure high standards of visual quality and consistency.
Support continuous improvement of design practices and visual communication standards within the multimedia production studio.
Candidate Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Design, or a related field.
2–4 years of experience in graphic design or visual communication roles.
Demonstrated experience designing communication materials for campaigns, marketing, or institutional communications.
Experience working in creative studios, communication teams, or development organizations is desirable.
