Hiring: Senior Finance Associate – VCFO | Mumbai
We’re building the VCFO function the way it should exist - not just execution-heavy, but sharp, review-led, and insight-driven. At Plan B, finance is not about pushing numbers forward. It’s about ensuring that what moves upward is clean, complete, and decision ready. We’re looking for a Senior Finance Associate who understands that distinction.
What this role really is:
You won’t be preparing books all day.
You’ll be reviewing, questioning, tightening, and elevating the quality of work that goes out to clients.
You become the layer that ensures:
Numbers actually tie
Reconciliations actually make sense
Working papers actually hold up under scrutiny
In short - you become a quality gatekeeper for the VCFO team.
What you’ll drive:
Review of ledgers, trial balances, and classifications
Validation of reconciliations and balance sheet schedules
Oversight on GST, TDS, PF, ESI workings
Ensuring files are complete, structured, and analysis-ready
Spotting gaps — not just errors, but missing thinking
Driving discipline in documentation and working papers
Maintaining review hygiene, trackers, and escalation clarity
Who this works for:
Someone with 1-3 years of experience (CA Inter / CMA Inter)

Naturally detail-obsessed
Uncomfortable with “almost correct”
Strong on fundamentals, stronger on review mindset
Confident enough to question, disciplined enough to follow through
