Role Overview
The Senior Associate – Editing and Motion Graphics will support Bala Vikasa’s Multimedia Production Studio by editing and refining multimedia content to produce high-quality video outputs. The role will focus on video editing, motion graphics integration, and visual finishing to transform raw footage into compelling visual stories.
Working closely with video production teams, graphic designers, and the Strategic Communications unit, the role will contribute to the creation of multimedia content for training programs, podcasts, program documentation, events, and communication campaigns.
The role will ensure that multimedia outputs meet professional visual standards and align with Bala Vikasa’s brand identity and storytelling objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Edit video content including program documentation, training recordings, interviews, testimonial videos, podcasts, and event highlights.
Transform raw footage into structured and engaging video narratives aligned with communication objectives.
Integrate motion graphics, titles, visual effects, and graphic overlays into video productions.
Support the development of promotional and campaign videos in collaboration with the communications team.
Edit recorded livestream sessions and studio recordings for publication and archival purposes.
Work closely with video production teams to understand production objectives and editing requirements.
Collaborate with graphic design teams to incorporate visual elements and branding into video content.
Ensure that multimedia outputs adhere to Bala Vikasa’s brand guidelines and visual identity standards.
Maintain organized project files, raw footage, and edited outputs within the studio’s asset management system.
Support the development of templates and visual packages for recurring content such as training videos, podcasts, and institutional announcements.
Ensure consistency and quality in editing, sound, pacing, and visual presentation across all multimedia outputs.
Assist in managing the transfer and archiving of video files across production and post-production workflows.
Candidate Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in Film Production, Media Studies, Visual Communication, Broadcast Media, or a related field.
2–4 years of experience in video editing or multimedia post-production.
Demonstrated experience producing high-quality video content using professional editing software.
Experience working in institutional communications, media production, training environments, or development organizations is desirable.
Skills and Competencies
