As a Private Equity Senior Analyst within the Global Strategic Insights Center (GSIC) team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the firm’s private equity practice through rigorous research, data analysis, and actionable insights. You will collaborate with senior stakeholders and sector leadership to develop research-driven perspectives that inform go-to-market strategies, drive eminence, and create tangible impact for our clients in the evolving world of Private Equity. Work you'll do
As a Consultant, Standardized Strategic Support Services on the Global Strategic Insights Center (GSIC) team, you will be responsible for:
Delivering research and analysis on private equity market, fund, and portfolio priorities, including growth strategy, competition, innovation, industry disruption, alliances, and ecosystems
Conducting qualitative and quantitative analysis, including financial statement analysis, operating metric analysis, strategic frameworks, and forecasting models
Developing research plans, scoping requests with stakeholders, and producing clear, actionable insights and recommendations for senior leadership
Managing project delivery, quality, and timelines while coordinating with global colleagues on priorities, expectations, and deliverables
Contributing to team initiatives, participating in brainstorming sessions, and mentoring new team members

Global Strategic Insights Center (GSIC) provides secondary research and analysis services to global Deloitte Member Firms supporting pursuit, business development, practice development, and client engagements. The team uses exclusive sources, specialized research skills, and industry expertise to develop insightful research reports, delivering significant value to customers across Deloitte’s global network. Shift Timings: 11 AM to 8 PM
Qualifications
Required:
Postgraduate degree
3-6 years of experience, including 3+ years in research or professional services with private equity or investment management experience
Experience conducting qualitative and quantitative research and analysis on companies, markets, funds, or portfolio topics
Experience analyzing financial statements, operating metrics, strategic frameworks, and forecasting models
Experience creating reports, presentations, or written deliverables for senior leadership or external audiences
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Experience using research tools such as Refinitiv, Capital IQ, Factiva, PitchBook, or EMIS
Preferred:
Experience supporting private equity sector, account, eminence, or go-to-market initiatives
Experience scoping research requests and managing stakeholder expectations
Experience working with global teams across multiple priorities and deadlines
Experience mentoring junior team members
Experience with Gen AI tools and prompt engineering
Experience working directly with senior leadership or in client service environments
