Work you'll do
As a Consultant, Standardized Strategic Support Services on the Global Strategic Insights Center (GSIC) team, you will be responsible for:
Delivering strategic insights to Deloitte senior leadership on infrastructure and sustainability market and client priorities, including growth strategy, competition, innovation, industry disruption, alliances, and ecosystems
Applying established research tools and methodologies to develop consultative research solutions and synthesize findings from multiple sources
Identifying patterns across disparate information and translating findings into clear narratives, visuals, and executive-ready deliverables
Collaborating with global colleagues and stakeholders to align on project requirements, expectations, and proposed solutions
Managing project delivery through effective project and time management, adherence to quality guidelines, and contribution to team development, including mentoring new team members

Global Strategic Insights Center (GSIC) provides secondary research and analysis services to global Deloitte Member Firms supporting pursuit, business development, practice development, and client engagements. The team uses exclusive sources, specialized research skills, and industry expertise to develop insightful research reports, delivering significant value to customers across Deloitte’s global network. Location: Hyderabad
Shift Timings: 11 AM to 8 PM
Qualifications
Required:
Postgraduate degree in business administration, economics, public policy, civil engineering, or finance
4-6 years of experience in research, market intelligence, strategic insights, or business analysis
At least 2 years of experience in infrastructure and sustainability-focused research
Experience conducting secondary research using public and proprietary sources and synthesizing findings into executive-ready deliverables
Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Experience using infrastructure and sustainability databases, including World Bank, International Monetary Fund, Japan International Cooperation Agency, Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development, Inframation, or Verdantix
Experience creating presentations, storyboards, or data visualizations for business audiences
Preferred:
Master’s degree in economics, public policy, or civil engineering
Experience supporting senior leadership or client service teams
Experience analyzing infrastructure subsectors, including smart cities, transportation, social infrastructure, energy infrastructure, or funding models
Experience applying strategic, forecasting, or economic assessment frameworks
Experience developing new research products, services, or insight solutions
Experience using generative artificial intelligence tools, including prompt engineering
