Job Title / Designation: FACULTY – SOUND ENGINEERING
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities :
Conduct lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on studio sessions in assigned audio domains.
Guide students through project-based learning and real-world studio workflows.
Contribute to curriculum development, lesson planning, and practical content creation.
Maintain studio infrastructure, ensuring optimal use of audio equipment and software.
Mentor students on minor and major projects, providing both technical and creative guidance.
Collaborate with fellow faculty members on workshops, interdisciplinary projects, and academic initiatives.
Specific Skill Set :
Audio signal flow, digital routing, and networked audio systems (DANTE, AVB, etc.)
Acoustic design principles, soundproofing, and studio calibration
Recording and mixing techniques for music, film, and games
Proficiency in professional Digital Audio Workstations (especially Pro Tools)
Integration of immersive and spatial audio formats
Strong working knowledge of DAWs (particularly Pro Tools), studio acoustics, and audio networking technologies.
Deep understanding of recording workflows, studio setup, and live sound environments.
Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
Minimum/Maximum/ Work Experience Required:
Minimum 5 years of relevant industry experience in audio engineering, studio operations, or sound design.
