Job Title / Designation: Faculty - Media Studies & Visual Communication
Job Description:
The candidate must
have
strong knowledge and experience
in
communication studies
. Knowledge of Visual Communication and media studies will be an added advantage. Candidate
must have

years of Industry or teaching experience. Will be responsible to handle subjects related to B.Sc Visual communication. Must be ready to take up general soft skills and media studies subjects. Must be interested in creating professional student projects and portfolios.
Specific Skill Set:
-Teaching:
Develop and deliver undergraduate/graduate courses in communication studies, including but not limited to, public speaking, media studies, intercultural communication, digital media, and communication theory, research technique, sustainability.
Employ innovative and effective teaching methods that engage students and enhance learning.
Provide timely and constructive feedback to students to support their academic development.
-Curriculum Development:
Collaborate with faculty to design and update course materials and curriculum to reflect current trends and advancements in the field of communication.
Participate in the assessment of student learning outcomes and the continuous improvement of the communication program.
-Service:
Engage in departmental, college, and university service, including committee work and student advising.
Participate in community outreach and activities that promote the communication program.

Minimum Education Requirements:
A Masters degree in Communication Studies or a related field is required.
Any other Skillset:
Previous teaching experience at the college/university level is preferred.
A demonstrated record of scholarly research and publications in communication studies. Good communicator (both oral and written) in English.
Should demonstrate positive attitude, high motivation and interpersonal skills.
