About the Job:
MaxIQ is seeking an experienced API Automation QA Engineer
with a strong foundation in
API testing and automation
using
Postman
and
API automation frameworks
to join our dynamic team! As an API Automation QA Engineer, you will ensure the reliability and scalability of our APIs by developing automated tests and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software.
Required Qualifications:
4
+ years of experience
in software testing with a focus on API testing and automation.
Hands-on experience with
Postman
for API functional and regression testing.
Proven expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining
API automation frameworks
.
Solid knowledge of
RESTful APIs, JSON, XML
, and web services testing best practices.
Familiarity with
API automation tools
(e.g., Newman, RestAssured, Karate).
Understanding of integrating automated API tests with
CI/CD tools
(e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills to isolate issues and collaborate with developers for resolution.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to discuss complex scenarios and findings.
Familiarity with
Agile methodologies, software development lifecycle, and design patterns
.
Passion for continuously learning new technologies and testing approaches.
