Key Responsibilities:
Take ownership of QA strategy and execution, while remaining a
hands-on IC
.
Mentor junior QA engineers and guide them on automation best practices.
Design, build, and maintain automation frameworks using
Playwright or Selenium
.
Ensure automation test coverage for functional, regression, and integration testing.
Collaborate with product, backend, and frontend teams to maintain quality across the product lifecycle.
Set up and optimize automated testing pipelines within CI/CD workflows.
Continuously improve QA processes for scalability and reliability.
Required Skills & Experience:
6+ years
of software testing experience with a strong focus on
automation
.
Proficiency in
any modern programming language
(Java, Python.).
Must have:
Experience with
Playwright
or
Selenium
.
Solid understanding of automation frameworks and QA best practices.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and test management tools (JIRA, TestRail).
Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
Proven ability to take ownership and accountability in ensuring product quality.
Good to Have:
Experience testing
SaaS products
or large-scale enterprise systems.
Exposure to API testing (Postman/RestAssured).
Familiarity with performance testing tools (JMeter, Locust).
