About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Backend Developer with strong experience in FastAPI to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems. You will work closely with our frontend engineers, product managers, and DevOps team to deliver high-quality APIs and services that power our applications.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services using FastAPI.
Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
Integrate with databases (SQL/NoSQL) and third-party APIs.
Implement authentication, authorization, and security best practices.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
Build automated tests (unit, integration) to ensure code quality.
Monitor and troubleshoot production issues, ensuring high system uptime.
Required Skills & Qualifications
3+ years of backend development experience (Python preferred).
Strong proficiency in FastAPI and asynchronous programming.
Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis).
Knowledge of ORM frameworks (SQLAlchemy, Tortoise ORM).
Understanding of API design principles, documentation tools (Swagger, OpenAPI).
Familiarity with Docker and containerized deployments.
Solid understanding of Git and version control workflows.
Experience with testing frameworks (Pytest, unittest).
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
Nice-to-Have Skills
Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure.
Knowledge of GraphQL.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins).
Experience with message brokers (RabbitMQ, Kafka, Celery).
