Job Title: Senior Associate – Scrum Master (Financial Services)
Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic
Senior Associate – Scrum Master
with
3–5 years of experience
, preferably in the
Financial Services domain
, to lead Agile delivery teams. The ideal candidate will act as a servant leader, facilitating Agile practices, enabling team productivity, and ensuring smooth delivery of high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Facilitate
Agile/Scrum ceremonies
including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
Coach and mentor the team on
Agile principles, Scrum framework, and best practices
Act as a
servant leader
, enabling the team to become self-organized and high-performing
Identify and
remove impediments/blockers
to ensure smooth sprint execution
Collaborate with
Product Owners and stakeholders
to support backlog refinement and prioritization
Ensure adherence to
SDLC, Agile governance, and compliance processes
Track and communicate
team progress, risks, and metrics
to stakeholders
Foster a collaborative and
continuous improvement culture
within the team
Protect the team from external interruptions and ensure focus during sprint cycles
Required Skills & Experience
3 to 5 years
of experience in
Scrum Master / Agile delivery role
Strong understanding of:
Scrum framework and Agile methodologies
Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
Hands-on experience in:
Facilitating Agile ceremonies
Sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release planning
Managing Agile tools such as
JIRA / Confluence / RTC
Strong knowledge of
metrics tracking (velocity, burndown, etc.)
Exposure to
financial services domain (preferred)
Core Competencies
Strong
leadership and facilitation skills
Excellent
communication and stakeholder management
Strong
problem-solving and conflict resolution
abilities
Ability to work in a
collaborative, cross-functional team environment
High adaptability and ability to thrive in a fast-paced Agile setup
Good to Have
Experience in
ETF / Capital Markets / Investment Banking domain
Certification such as
Certified Scrum Master (CSM) / PSM
Exposure to
Scaled Agile (SAFe) / Kanban frameworks
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
Additional Notes
Scrum Master should focus on
team effectiveness and continuous improvement

Candidate should demonstrate
servant leadership mindset and coaching ability
Strong focus on
driving Agile maturity within teams and organization
