Job Title: Sales -State Zonal Head

who is responsible for overseeing the sales and operational activities within a specific state zone. This role involves developing strategic plans, driving business growth, ensuring the achievement of sales targets, and managing the overall performance of the zone. The State Zonal Head will lead a team of managers and sales representatives, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to company standards.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement strategic plans for the state zone to achieve sales and operational targets.
Analyze market trends, competition, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.
Set clear goals and objectives for the zone and ensure alignment with the overall company strategy.
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of managers and sales representatives.
Provide training, coaching, and performance feedback to team members.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and develop improvement plans for underperforming employees.
Drive sales initiatives to achieve and exceed revenue targets for the zone.
Monitor sales performance metrics and implement corrective actions as needed.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
Ensure efficient and effective operations within the state zone.
Oversee the implementation of company policies and procedures.
Manage the zone’s budget and ensure cost-effective operations.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the company’s presence in the state zone.
Collaborate with the marketing team to execute promotional campaigns and events.
Stay updated on industry trends and market developments to maintain a competitive edge.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners.
Address customer concerns and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Implement customer feedback mechanisms to improve service delivery.
Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements within the state zone.
Identify and mitigate potential risks to the business.
Maintain high standards of corporate governance and ethical practices.
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. A Master’s degree or MBA is preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 10+ years of experience in sales and operations, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role. Experience in the [specific industry] is preferred
Strong leadership and team management skills.
