Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve room, banquet, and F&B revenue targets
Identify new business opportunities across corporate, travel trade, MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, Exhibitions), and leisure segments
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, travel agents, event planners, and corporate accounts
Conduct regular sales calls, client meetings, presentations, and hotel site inspections
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and long-term agreements to maximize revenue and occupancy
Coordinate closely with reservations, front office, and F&B teams to ensure seamless guest experience
Work with the marketing team on promotions, campaigns, and brand positioning
Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to adjust strategies
Prepare and manage sales forecasts, budgets, and periodic performance reports
Manage key accounts and ensure repeat business through consistent follow-ups and service quality
Handle group bookings, conferences, and large-scale events with detailed planning and coordination
Represent the hotel at trade fairs, exhibitions, and networking events
Ensure compliance with brand standards of luxury chains like Taj Hotels and Marriott International
Train and guide junior sales team members to improve performance and achieve targets
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, handle client feedback, and resolve issues promptly
Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
MBA or specialization in Sales/Marketing is an added advantage
4–8 years of experience in hotel sales (preferably in 4-star or 5-star properties)
Strong knowledge of hotel operations, revenue management, and market segments (corporate, MICE, leisure)
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Proficiency in CRM systems and hotel software (e.g., Opera, Salesforce)
Strong analytical and reporting skills for forecasting and budgeting
Customer-focused approach with relationship management skills
Ability to lead a team and work under pressure to achieve targets
Knowledge of brand standards followed by luxury chains.
