Job Summary
The
Robotics Facilitator
is responsible for teaching robotics, coding, and basic engineering concepts to students across different grade levels. The facilitator will help students develop problem-solving, logical thinking, creativity, and hands-on technical skills through robotics projects and STEM-based learning.
Key Responsibilities
Teaching & Learning
Teach
robotics, coding, and automation basics
to students of various grade levels.
Introduce students to
robot design, programming, and sensor-based systems
.
Conduct hands-on robotics sessions using robotics kits and tools.
Teach basic programming concepts such as logic, sequencing, loops, and debugging.
Encourage innovation, teamwork, and creative problem-solving through projects.
Student Development
Guide students in building and programming robots.
Prepare students for
robotics competitions, exhibitions, and STEM fairs
.
Support project-based learning and collaborative activities.
Encourage curiosity and interest in science, technology, and engineering.
Curriculum & Planning
Develop robotics lesson plans based on age and skill levels.
Design project-based learning modules and challenges.
Maintain records of student progress and project outcomes.
Collaborate with science and math teachers for interdisciplinary learning.
Lab & Equipment Management
Maintain robotics kits, tools, and lab equipment.
Ensure safe usage of robotics equipment.
Manage inventory of robotics components and materials.
Set up robotics lab sessions and activities.
Assessment & Evaluation
Conduct assessments through projects, presentations, and practical demonstrations.
Evaluate students based on creativity, functionality, and teamwork.
Provide constructive feedback and improvement suggestions.
Professional Responsibilities
Participate in school STEM activities and innovation programs.
Stay updated with new robotics technologies and programming tools.
Attend professional development workshops.
Follow school policies and maintain safety standards.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in
Robotics / Electronics / Computer Science / Engineering / IT
(Preferred).
Certification in
Robotics or Coding
(Preferred).
Minimum
1–3 years of experience
teaching robotics or coding in schools or training institutes.
Skills & Competencies
Knowledge of
robotics kits and programming platforms
.
Understanding of
basic electronics, sensors, and motors
.
Familiarity with
coding languages
such as Scratch, Python, or Arduino-based programming.
Strong problem-solving and logical thinking skills.
Ability to conduct hands-on and project-based learning sessions.
Good classroom management and communication skills.
Preferred Experience
Experience working with robotics kits such as
LEGO Robotics, Arduino, or similar platforms
.
Experience training students for
robotics competitions
.
Exposure to
STEM or coding curriculum design
.
