About this role

THE POSITION: We are looking for an experienced Release Manager to oversee and coordinate software releases across multiple teams and environments. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in release management processes, hands-on experience using Jira, and proven experience working closely with software development or product development teams. Key Responsibilities Plan, schedule, and manage end-to-end software releases across multiple projects Work closely with software development and product teams to ensure smooth release cycles Coordinate with cross-functional teams including development, QA, DevOps, and business stakeholders Define and maintain release calendars and ensure alignment across teams Track release progress, risks, and dependencies using Jira Ensure all release deliverables meet quality standards and timelines Manage release documentation, including release notes and deployment plans Identify and mitigate risks, issues, and bottlenecks in the release cycle Facilitate go/no-go meetings and ensure stakeholder sign-offs Drive continuous improvement in release management processes and tools Ensure compliance with change management and governance standards Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field 5+ years of experience in Release Management or similar role Proven experience working closely with software development or product development teams Strong hands-on experience with Jira (dashboards, workflows, reporting) Solid understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies Experience managing releases in complex, multi-team environments Strong stakeholder management and communication skills Ability to manage multiple releases simultaneously Problem-solving mindset with strong attention to detail Preferred Qualifications Experience with tools like Confluence, CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab) Knowledge of ITIL or change management frameworks Experience in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) Certification in Agile/Scrum (e.g., Scrum Master, SAFe) is a plus OUR CULTURAL BELIEFS: Patient Minded  I act with the patient’s best interest in mind.
