Summary:
Primarily provides pre-sales technical support for the development and implementation of complex products/applications/solutions. Uses in-depth product knowledge to provide technical expertise to sales staff and the customer through sales presentations and product demonstrations. Assists the sales staff in assessing potential application of company products to meet customer needs and may prepare detailed product specifications for the development and implementation of customer products/applications/solutions. May create detailed design and implementation specifications for complex products/applications/solutions. May build a mini-application based on customer requirements to demonstrate feasibility of the application, often requiring rapid prototyping and/or product demo for client. May provide consultation to prospective users and/or product capability assessment and validation.

and

advancing
the
discussions
to
the

of

commercial
engagement.
Main responsibilities/duties:
Support
field
sales
team
in
advance
of
customer
meetings,
demonstrations,
evaluations,
trade
shows,
etc.
such
as
developing
applications
and
use
cases
that
clearly
demonstrates
the
power
of
Viavi

s
products
and
s
olutions,
applying
their
experience
of
ORAN and
Mobile
Core
network
as
a
must
do
focus
to
meet
and
exceed
expectation.
Engage directly and understand regional customer needs and applications, apply the insights to position
Viavi
products to meet customer needs.
Performing demonstrations, proofs of concepts and trials to validate our solution fit to customers
Interoperability testing of
VIAVI
Solutions Wireless and customer equipment.
Work
closely
with
VIAVI
Solutions
product
units,
R&D
teams
and
regional
teams
to
resolve
customers'
technical
issues.
Build and maintain close relationships with key customers.
Customers are primarily located in APJ Region, though some travel to other regions will be required.
Accountabilities will include but not limited to:
Provision

preference
for

solution.
Conduct
technical
discussions,
demonstrations
and
trials
to
prove
Viavi

product
benefits
to
customers.
Work
closely
with
both
our
customer
base
and
the
product
development
team
to
qualify
new
features
requested
by
our
customers.
Collection of technical requirements from the customer for future enhancement of the product.
Work
with sales teams to position and develop sales strategies to meet business objectives.
Key Skills/Competencies:

Must
have
strong
understanding
of
wireless
technologies
including
ORAN,
4G

G and measurements
related
to
protocol.

Good
understanding
of
a
wireless
industry (operators and network vendors)
environment
and
operational
challenges
for
RAN
and
Core.

Working knowledge of AI RAN and Ran Scenario Generator – Digital Twin
·
Strong L4-L7 protocol experience with basic understanding
of
L2/L3 experience with knowledge of common routing and
switching protocols would be added advantage.

Ability to analyze customer network topologies and ability
to trouble-shoot, identify and solve problems.

Qualification and Experience:
·
The successful candidate should possess
a
Degree (BSc/BEng) and
be
able to demonstrate comparable suitable
experience in an Electronic and Communications engineering subject.

At least
4
years of working experience in related
industry,
with exposure to 5G ORAN and Core network testing in operator/ network vendor or
lab environments
Understanding of and experience with measuring instruments such as core network testers.
