Raptee.HV is a full- stack electric motorcycle startup with a very strong technical moat, founded in 2019 by four engineers from Chennai (Ex Tesla, Wipro), working on bringing a no-compromise upgrade motorcycle to an otherwise scooter- only EV market. Raptee is incubated at CIIC & ARAI.
Role Overview:
The Regional Sales Manager will lead sales operations in assigned territories, achieving revenue goals through dealer management and market expansion. This position demands 7+ years of EV/automotive sales experience.
What you’ll actually do
Develop and execute regional sales strategies to meet quarterly/annual targets.
Build and manage dealer/distributor networks: appoint new partners, provide training, and monitor performance against KPIs.
Analyze market trends, competitor analytics, and customer needs to optimize pricing and promotions.
Collaborate with marketing for campaigns, lead generation, and events
Forecast sales, prepare budgets, and report metrics via CRM tools
Conduct field visits, resolve escalations, and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
Mentor sales reps, drive team quotas, and support handovers.
Who we’re looking for
MBA in Business/Marketing with 7+ years in EV/automotive channel sales.
Proven track record in dealer management and hitting targets in India’s EV sector.
Strong analytical, negotiation, and leadership skills, proficient in Excel/CRM.
Willingness to travel 30-50% regionally, based in Chennai with pan-South India focus.
Bonus points if you
Knowledge of EV incentives, FAME-II, and startup dynamics a plus.
