Overall Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and implement scalable automation test scripts using Playwright
Maintain and enhance the automation frameworks to improve test efficiency
Collaborate with QA and development teams to understand testing requirements
Automate regression, functional, and API tests
Execute automated test suites and analyze test outcomes
Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing
Report on automation test results, bugs, and performance issues
Update documentation related to test cases, frameworks, and procedures
Stay updated with the latest testing tools and automation best practices
Software Requirements:
Strong hands-on experience with
Playwright automation tool
Proficiency in
JavaScript/TypeScript
for scripting
Experience with
Selenium
,
WebDriver
, or similar tools is a plus
Familiarity with
API testing
tools like Postman or RestAssured
Practical knowledge of
CI/CD pipelines
such as Jenkins or GitLab CI
Version control proficiency with

Docker
for containerized test environments

5+ years of dedicated experience in QA Automation, specifically with Playwright or similar frameworks
Day-to-Day Activities:
Developing, reviewing, and maintaining automation test scripts for UI and API tests
Collaborating with developers, manual QA, and DevOps teams
Running automated tests within CI/CD pipelines and analyzing outcomes
Troubleshooting automation failures and debugging scripts
Continuously enhancing the automation framework for reusability and efficiency
Participating in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and review meetings
Updating the test documentation and reporting defects
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields
Proven experience with Playwright and automation frameworks
Certifications in testing or automation is a plus
