Job Summary
Synechron is seeking an experienced React Developer with strong .NET and WPF expertise to serve as a POD Lead for a SWAP Positions platform within the capital markets domain. This role involves leading the development of real-time trading screens, exposure, and risk management features, providing technical ownership, and guiding a team of developers. The role will contribute to delivering scalable, secure, and high-performance trading solutions that support business growth and innovation in a dynamic, high-stakes environment.
Software Requirements
Required Software Proficiency:
React.js (latest stable version) — extensive experience in building responsive and high-performance user interfaces
.NET / .NET Core (latest versions) — proven experience designing and implementing scalable backend services
WPF (Windows Presentation Foundation) — strong desktop UI development experience with real-time data visualization
Bitbucket — proficient in version control, pull requests, code reviews, and branch management
SQL Server or similar relational databases — experience in data management and query optimization
Knowledge of capital markets or trading systems is essential
Preferred Software Skills:
Cloud deployment using Azure, AWS, or GCP — familiarity with cloud infrastructure supporting trading applications
Additional front-end libraries like Redux or Bootstrap for UI enhancements
Automation tools and CI/CD pipelines — experience in deployment automation and system integration
Overall Responsibilities
Lead the technical development, design, and deployment of real-time SWAP Positions, exposure, and risk management screens
Manage a POD and act as the primary technical point of contact, ensuring delivery quality and adherence to standards
Design and implement high-quality, scalable front-end and back-end components using React.js and .NET / WPF
Guide and mentor junior team members, conducting code reviews and enforcing best coding practices
Coordinate with product, QA, and DevOps teams to streamline development and deployment workflows
Oversee system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize solutions for latency and scalability
Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and develop fit-for-purpose solutions
Maintain detailed documentation of system architecture, codebase, and deployment processes
Technical Skills (By Category)
Programming Languages:
Essential: React.js, .NET / .NET Core, WPF — proficiency in developing enterprise-grade UI and backend solutions
Preferred: JavaScript, TypeScript for front-end, C# for backend logic
Databases & Data Management:
Experience with SQL Server, or similar relational databases — including data modeling, query tuning, and transactional data handling
Cloud Technologies:
Familiarity with deploying applications and supporting trading systems on Azure, AWS, or GCP (preferred)
Frameworks & Libraries:
React.js components, WPF for desktop UI, REST API design for integration
Development Tools & Methodologies:
Visual Studio, Bitbucket, Agile/Scrum processes, CI/CD (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps)

Experience Requirements
10–12 years of professional experience in software development, with a focus on React.js and .NET/WPF environments in the capital markets or trading systems space
Proven leadership experience managing development projects or POD teams
Extensive experience designing real-time trading screens, exposure, and risk management modules
Demonstrated success in creating scalable, high-performance applications supporting high-frequency trading
Background in deploying applications within cloud environments or supporting infrastructure is advantageous
Day-to-Day Activities
Lead the end-to-end development of SWAP Positions, exposure, and risk management UI components using React.js and WPF
Collaborate with product owners, quants, and traders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and maintain code quality across the team
Coordinate with DevOps and infrastructure teams for deployment, environment support, and system health monitoring
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues impacting application latency, stability, or accuracy
Optimize data flow, rendering performance, and user experience for high-frequency trading needs
Document system architecture, UI/UX workflows, and operational procedures
Stay informed of market technology trends and incorporate best practices into system design
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field
10+ years of experience in enterprise UI/UX development and backend support within capital markets or trading environments
Certifications in .NET, React.js, or related fields are a plus
In-depth understanding of trading workflows, risk management, and high-availability system design
