QA Lead – Salesforce

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Salesforce QA Lead to join our team on a 1-year contractual engagement. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Salesforce testing, quality assurance processes, and team handling. This role involves leading QA initiatives across Salesforce implementations, integrations, and enhancements while ensuring high-quality and timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end QA activities for Salesforce projects and releases
Create and manage test strategies, test plans, test cases, and test execution reports
Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing
Validate Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, workflows, custom objects, and integrations
Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand business requirements and ensure quality deliverables
Identify, track, prioritize, and manage defects through closure
Drive QA best practices, process improvements, and quality standards
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning and retrospectives
Mentor and guide junior QA resources when required
Support automation testing and continuous testing initiatives
Required Skills & Experience
8+ years of overall QA experience with at least 4+ years in Salesforce QA
Strong hands-on experience in Salesforce testing and QA methodologies
Good understanding of Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud
Experience in API, integration, and end-to-end testing
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies
Experience with Jira, TestRail, or other defect/test management tools
Understanding of STLC, defect lifecycle, and release management
Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications
Salesforce certification(s) will be an added advantage
Experience with automation testing tools/frameworks is preferred
