About the Role
We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Fresher QA Engineer to join our team for testing our Jewellery ERP application. The candidate will be involved in functional testing, UI testing, workflow validation, bug reporting, and supporting automation and AI-driven testing initiatives.
This role is ideal for candidates who are eager to learn ERP workflows, software quality assurance practices, and modern testing technologies.
Key Responsibilities
Perform manual testing of Jewellery ERP modules
Execute functional, UI, regression, and workflow testing
Identify, document, and track bugs/issues clearly
Validate calculations, reports, and business workflows
Prepare and execute test cases and test scenarios
Work closely with developers and business teams
Support automation testing activities using Selenium / Playwright
Learn and explore AI-assisted testing approaches and prompt engineering
Verify API responses and frontend/backend data consistency
Participate in release testing and QA validation cycles
Required Qualification
MCA / M.Sc Computer Science / B.Tech / BE Computer Science Engineering
Strong understanding of software testing concepts
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Basic understanding of SDLC and STLC
Good communication and reporting skills
Preferred Skills
Knowledge of Manual Testing concepts
Basic understanding of Automation Testing
Familiarity with:
Selenium
Playwright
Knowledge of bug tracking tools
Understanding of ERP applications is an added advantage
Interest in AI tools and Prompt Engineering
Knowledge of SQL/database basics is a plus
Certification (Preferred)
ISTQB Certification is an added advantage
