Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer
Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of our applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for manual testing and supporting automation efforts to deliver high-quality software. Experience with Salesforce applications is an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
Understand business requirements and prepare test scenarios and test cases
Perform manual testing (functional, regression, smoke, and UAT support)
Identify, document, and track defects using defect management tools
Collaborate with developers and business teams to resolve issues
Validate bug fixes and ensure timely closure of defects
Participate in requirement review and test planning activities
Ensure quality standards are followed throughout the SDLC
Basic support for test automation (if applicable)
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
3–5 years of experience in Manual Testing / QA role
Strong understanding of software testing concepts and methodologies
Experience in writing clear test cases and test execution reports
Familiarity with defect tracking tools (JIRA, Bugzilla, etc.)
Good analytical and communication skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Good to Have (Added Advantage):
Basic knowledge of
Salesforce platform
(Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or custom apps)
Experience testing CRM or web-based applications
Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology
Exposure to automation tools (Selenium, TestNG, etc.)
Skill:
Strong attention to detail to identify defects, inconsistencies, and edge cases across applications.
Excellent problem-solving skills to analyse issues, determine root causes, and propose effective solutions.
Solid analytical thinking to understand business requirements, translate them into test scenarios, and assess system behaviour.
Effective communication skills to clearly document defects, share testing status, and collaborate with developers, product owners, and stakeholders.
Proven ability to work collaboratively as a team player, contributing to shared quality goals while also managing independent responsibilities.

ISTQB Foundation (optional)
Salesforce Admin / Salesforce Testing exposure (plus)
